Yoram lives in Rosh Ha’ayin with his wife Revital and their five children. He owns a jewelry business and leads a very busy life, but volunteering with United Hatzalah is something he would never give up on. Yoram has a United Hatzalah ambucycle and is a very active medic, responding literally to hundreds of calls.
He has saved many lives, but one story that stands out occurred on a rainy winter day. He was alerted to a traffic accident and immediately raced to the scene on his ambucycle. A motorcyclist had apparently skidded and crashed. He was lying semi-conscious on the road, blood pouring from a terrible head wound. As Yoram quickly started bandaging the wound, he saw the face of the biker and his heart jumped. It was his sister’s brother-in-law! Suppressing his emotion, Yoram continued the lifesaving medical care, providing vital breathing assistance, immobilizing him and transferring him to an ambulance before calling immediate family to alert them of the accident.
Yoram usually saves the lives of strangers, but this time it was close to home and Yoram is so grateful that he was able to help his relative.
